An Intuitionistic Fuzzy Parameterized Decision-making Approach For Evaluating Site Suitability For Educational Institutions Using Hypersoft Settings
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Intuitionistic fuzzy parameterization aims to evaluate the uncertain and ambiguousnature of parameters and sub-parameters during the decision-making process. In this parameterization,an intuitionistic fuzzy grade is assigned to parameters and sub-parameters to addressambiguity. In cases of hypersoft settings, this grade is attached to multi-argument tuples containingsub-parametric values. The integration of intuitionistic fuzzy parameterization with hypersoft settingsoffers a flexible framework for modeling uncertainties in decision-making scenarios. In thisstudy, a new theoretical framework called the intuitionistic fuzzy parameterized hypersoft set (IFpHSS)is developed, which replaces existing concepts based on parameterization of intuitionisticfuzzy soft sets. The concepts of empty, universal, subset, and equal IFpHSS are introduced and clarifiedwith examples. Aggregation operations such as complement, union, intersection, AND, andOR for IFpHSS are also explained. Using the idea of an intuitionistic fuzzy decision set, cardinalityset, and reduced fuzzy set within the IFpHSS framework, a robust decision-support system is established, along with an intelligent algorithm. This algorithm is applied to evaluate different sites forthe establishment of an educational institution, demonstrating its effectiveness for solving problemsinvolving vagueness and uncertainties.
