Abstract: Society presents constant changes in all areas of its development, however, in the field of education, a new path could be observed during the COVID-19 pandemic that visualized greater success by educating a new type of society, called “digital natives”. The strategy of moving from a 100% face-to-face model to a 100% online model and trying a hybrid model that is quite unknown in Mexico, this revealed great advantages, but also broad areas for improvement, however, over time, the possible implementations that have been successfully adapted are diluted in the exercise of not interrupting all the gears involved in education. Therefore, it is necessary to lay the foundations of the advances registered within each school community, for which the objective of this research is to analyze the advances that are made to move to the hybrid model in CETis 22, a high school public education in the state of Tamaulipas, of which 5 groups were worked, with a sample of 183 students surveyed through a Google Forms. The main findings were that the student is not positioned as the main agent of his learning, and even has a tendency to exercise his educational process as a passive entity, little concentration in classes and multiple distractors, indicating the teacher as necessary to focus on classes.
