Abstract: The article describes the results of a comprehensive study of the parietal microbiome of the small intestine of people with confirmed carriage of the herpes simplex virus type 1 and adhering to different diets. In samples of people with a carbohydrate-dominant diet, the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the number of microorganisms differed significantly from the results of participants with a nutritionally optimized diet. Qualitative analysis revealed the presence of fungi of the genus Aspergillus spp. and a high rate of opportunistic cocci, Clostridium spp. than in the group of participants with a diet rich in fiber, proteins and fermented milk products. A direct correlation was observed between the number of Lactobaccilus spp. and the viral load in the group of participants with a predominance of easily digestible carbohydrates in the diet, the Pearson coefficient was 0.9915, which indicates a very strong linear relationship between the number of Lactobaccilus spp. and Herpes spp. Keywords: MICROBIOTA, LACTOBACTERIA, ASPERGILLUS, HSV-1, MICROORGANISMS, PROPIONIC ACID BACTERIA
