Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: As a key hub city along the South China Sea coast, Guangzhou has significant industrial cluster advantages in the fields of ships and marine equipment. With the global shipbuilding market entering a new growth cycle, the shipbuilding and marine equipment industry in Guangzhou has ushered in important development opportunities. From the perspective of “four-chain integration”, this paper collects patent data from the shipbuilding and marine equipment industry in Guangdong Province from 2014 to 2023. We used the multi-factor fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and autoregressive integrated moving average model to conduct an in-depth analysis of the current situation of innovation, finance, and talent in the shipbuilding and marine equipment industry chain in Guangzhou. By comparing with advanced domestic and international cases such as Busan in South Korea, Shanghai and Dalian in China, and based on the “four-chain” deep integration idea of “giving play to the advantages of the single chain + promoting the integration of the four chains”, targeted development suggestions and optimization paths for the shipbuilding and marine equipment industry chain in Guangzhou are put forward.
