Bio-inspired Self-Healing Traffic Flow Simulation Based on Platelet Coagulation Mechanism for Accident Recovery
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: In order to solve the problem of traffic congestion caused by traffic accidents, inspired by the platelet coagulation mechanism, a traffic flow self-healing simulation model based on platelet coagulation mechanism was constructed, and compared with the traditional graded deceleration strategy model for evacuation. The results showed that the self-healing model only affected about 5 vehicles during the accident, while the traditional model affected about 11 vehicles; At the same time, the congestion duration of the self-healing model is 34.80 seconds, and the maximum queue length is 271.90 meters, which is 45.50 seconds and 326.48 meters respectively compared to the traditional model. This indicates that the self-healing model has significant advantages in reducing the impact of accidents, alleviating congestion, and shortening vehicle queues. In summary, this study validates the effectiveness of the biomimetic self-healing model based on platelet coagulation mechanism in accident response and recovery in high dynamic traffic scenarios, and provides strong theoretical basis and data support for optimizing post accident traffic diversion strategies and improving road traffic efficiency in the future.
