Abstract: The article presents the current condition of e-records management practice in Thai government agencies in the digital age aiming to perform its services to the public and meet the needs of society. The data collected through a survey from ten ministries in 2022 reveals that the Thai public sector has already established infrastructure for managing public records in paper-based and electronic environments due to enforced recordkeeping legislation. Although current e-records management practice among government complies with the universal records life cycle model, there are still gaps due to a lack of fundamental support that can be improved.
