Abstract: The article presents the potential benefits of using artificial intelligence (AI) in the public finance sector in Poland. Traditional methods of presenting budget data were analysed, pointing out their limitations in effectively informing the public and supporting social control. The aim of the study was to show that the use of algorithm-based software can facilitate access to public information, pattern analysis, process automation, budget forecasting and irregularity detection. As a result, it will influence an increase in the efficiency of the state in the area of financial management.
