Results By properly analysing the WHOQOL questions, the responses provided by the patients were assessed for reliability and understanding in order to determine their appropriateness in the oncological population. The findings indicate that all four domains and two independent items have low to moderate discrimination. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test in deprescribing group showed the p value of 0.186 in quality of life (baseline and third follow up), in the item of satisfied with health (p= 0.316), physical domain (p= 0.942), psychological domain (p= 0.980), social domain (p=0.179) and environmental domain (p=0.459). Conclusion the brief World Health Organization Quality of Life is a reliable and valid health-related tool for quality of life in cancer patients.
