Proteomic Changes Associated with Histological Progression in Diabetic Kidney Disease at 5 Years Post-Transplantation
Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Purpose: Recurrent diabetic kidney disease (DKD) post kidney transplantation (KT) offers a unique opportunity to investigate subclinical early diabetic lesions through the proteomic changes. This study aims to identify proteomic changes in renal allografts at 5 years post-transplant (5yrPT) and their associations with histological features in diabetic/obese (DM/OB) vs. non-diabetic/non-obese (nDM/nOB) patients.
