Abstract: Purpose: BK virus (BKV) contributes to dysfunction and loss of the transplanted kidney, yet patient-centered research on its broader impacts on recipients' lives is notably absent. This study aimed to conceptualize the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) impacts experienced by kidney transplant recipients infected with BKV.
