Abstract: Purpose: Anxiety and depression, often comorbid conditions, may exacerbate existing health issues in the transplant population, particularly in the context of immunosuppressant regimens and access to follow-up care. We evaluated outcomes in a national cohort of liver transplant (LT) recipients first diagnosed with anxiety (“de novo anxiety”) or depression (“de novo depression”) post-transplant.
