Efficacy of Combined Rituximab/Daratumumab Therapy in Post-Transplant FSGS Recurrence: A Retrospective, International, Multi-Center Study

Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Purpose: Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) frequently recurs after kidney transplantation (KT), favoring graft failure. Plasma exchange (PEX) and rituximab show variable effectiveness, and PEX is often poorly tolerated. We previously reported the safety/efficacy of combined anti-CD20 and anti-CD38 (daratumumab) depletion treatments in a few FSGS recurrence cases. Here, we present a multi-center, international, retrospective cohort analysis in early FSGS recurrence following KT treated with combined regimen of rituximab and daratumumab.
