Prospective Eplet Matching in Unsensitized Recipients of Living Donor Kidneys is Associated with a Lower Incidence of De Novo DSA
Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Purpose: Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) eplet matching has been shown to reduce de novo donor specific antibody (dnDSA) production independent of HLA antigen matching in retrospective studies. We describe outcomes after living donor kidney transplantation (LDKT) with prospective evaluation of donor-recipient eplet matching via a national paired exchange program.
