Evaluation of Ultra-Short Course Hepatitis B Immune Globulin (HBIG) in Combination with Antiviral Agents for Hepatitis B Recurrence Prevention in Liver Transplant Recipients

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Purpose: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) recurrence remains a significant concern post-liver transplantation. While standard HBIG protocols are effective, they require prolonged administration and are costly. This study evaluates the efficacy of an ultra-short HBIG regimen for preventing HBV recurrence in liver transplant recipients.
