The Role of Transport-Tourism Integration in Driving Industrial Revitalization and Promoting High-Quality Rural Economic Development in Guangxi—Based on Computer technology empirical analysis of entropy-TOPSIS model

Abstract: Guangxi's rural economy occupies an important position in China's rural revitalization strategy, and the integration of transportation and tourism industries (traffic-travel integration) is regarded as a key factor to enhance the economic vitality and attractiveness of rural areas. This study analyzes the data related to the integration of transportation and tourism and rural economic development of 14 prefecture-level cities in Guangxi by using the computer technology of Entropy - TOPSIS model, through the steps of constructing decision matrix, standardization, and calculating entropy value and weights. It is found that the integration of transportation and tourism significantly promotes the structural optimization and sustainable development of rural economy, especially in Nanning City, Liuzhou City and Guilin City. The effect of the integration of transportation and tourism on the tertiary industry is the most prominent, and the effect on the primary industry is relatively small. Based on this, in order to promote the high-quality development of Guangxi's rural economy, it is proposed to strengthen the construction of transportation infrastructure, promote the integration of agriculture and tourism and other policy recommendations.
