Abstract: The article compares and analyzes the syntactic structures of the heroic epics of the Kazakh and Mongolian peoples, focusing in particular on the forms of predicates, which play a key role in sentence organization. The epics of these peoples are largely similar in terms of their ideological themes and compositional structure. In the field of Turkology, there are a number of works and studies by Kazakhstani scholars dedicated to Kazakh-Mongolian linguistic and literary contacts. However, the study of literary and folklore works from a linguistic perspective remains one of the underexplored issues. The proposed article represents one of the first attempts to address this topic. A comparative analysis of predicate forms in heroic epics makes it possible to identify the structural features of poetic periods and individual lines. The article concludes that the number of syllables in verses influences rhythm creation and inversion. These aspects are presented in the form of explanatory graphs. The identified similarities and differences are attributed to the cultural values of each people, the poetic traditions of their literary heritage, and their worldview characteristics. The article also suggests thematic directions for future research in this field
