Abstract: In recent years, the demand for benzene, toluene and xylenes has been growing rapidly both in the global and local petrochemical markets. This is due to the increase in output in industries consuming these chemicals. In order to provide the dynamically developing market with the required volume of benzene, toluene and xylenes, it is important to develop a new technology for their production using new sources of raw materials. In the EP-300 complex of the Ethylene-Polyethylene plant, 70-80 thousand tons of ΣC 5+ pyrolysis condensate are obtained as a by-product of the pyrolysis process. In addition to unsaturated hydrocarbons, light pyrolysis products contain valuable substances such as cyclopentadiene, isoprene, benzene, toluene and xylenes. Therefore, first of all, there are several methods for removing unsaturated hydrocarbons from pyrolysis condensate. These are hydrogenation, catalytic and thermal oligomerization methods. In this article, a research work is carried out using the AlCl 3 catalyst with unsaturated hydrocarbons contained in the pyrocondensate. After the separation of oligomers, the remaining benzene-toluene-xylene fraction is sent to the process of separating benzene, toluene and xylenes by thermal dehydrodealkylation. As a result of the complex work described in the article, benzene with a purity of 99.9% was obtained by rectification. In other words, in the production of benzene, the removal of benzene was achieved by splitting non-aromatic hydrocarbons with the same boiling point as benzene Keywords: pyrocondensate, oligomer, benzene, toluene, xylene, unsaturated hydrocarbons IntruductionIt is known that the composition of liquid pyrolysis resin includes a mixture of saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons of the C 5 -C 14 range. As a result of polymerization of these hydrocarbons, petroleum polymer resin is obtained. For polymerization, not all fractions of light
