Abstract: ReseARchionomer fillers to speed up and improve matrix formation after mixing. This innovative glass hybrid technology increases ion availability and creates a stronger matrix structure with enhanced physical properties, wear resistance, and fluoride release.Clinicians are particularly concerned about the microleakage occurring at the proximal box margins, particularly at the gingival floor of class II fillings when posterior restorative materials are used.6 IntroductIon Microleakage refers to the passage of microorganisms, liquid, microscopic particles, or ions between a cavity wall and the filling material that cannot be detected clinically. 1 The failure of restorative materials to achieve a complete marginal seal results in micro gaps, allowing the infiltration of fluids, ions, and bacteria, which can lead to secondary caries, hypersensitivity, and pulpal infections.Recent advancements in adhesive dentistry have minimized the size and shape of cavities to be less invasive. However, despite ongoing improvements in restorative materials, issues like marginal microleakage continue to be a challenge.2 Currently, one of the main issues with restorations is the inability to achieve a perfect bond between adhesive filling substance and enamel and dentin.Although conventional glass ionomer cement (GIC) has good adhesion, its mechanical properties are inadequate for use in stressbearing areas.Various modifications have been made to address the limitations of traditional GICs. 3 The latest material, EQUIA, was developed to amalgamate the benefits of high viscosity glass ionomer cement with a nano-filled light-curing varnish which offers surface protection during the initial phase of setting, sealing surface cracks and porosity, and enhancing the material's wear resistance and toughness, which is crucial during the initial months until the GIC fully matures and can withstand intraoral load.4,5 Equia Forte Fil and Equia Forte Fil are recent superfine and extremely reactive glass materials disseminated within the glass
