Study on the Optimization Path of College Counselors’ Mental Health Education from “Grand Ideological and Political Education”

Abstract: The goal of “Grand Ideological and Political Education” is to make mental health education more comprehensive, which hopes to enhance the effectiveness of education from a broader perspective and deepen the practicality of education for the students. It has become a general trend to closely integrate these two aspects and promote the reform and development of mental health education under the “Grand Ideological and Political Education”. However, most teachers have some problems in the actual education process, such as overemphasizing the academics and work to neglect cooperation; paying too much attention to crisis events, instead of considering the overall situation; and placing too much emphasis on the form to the neglect of education depth. To alleviate the above issues, we analyze and optimize the education manners based on the theme of “Grand Ideological and Political Education” and artificial intelligence technology from collaborative education subjects, promoting positive psychology, optimizing educational methods, and improving the ability of counselors in psychological counseling to better help students grow up healthily.
