Research on the Application of English Learning Software in Oral English Learning in Senior High School: A Case Study of “English Fun Dubbing”

Abstract: The oral English learning mode assisted by English learning software can guide students to learn oral English independently and efficiently. This study aims to explore the application of English learning software in oral English learning, and take “English Fun Dubbing” as an example. This study will take constructivism theory as the theoretical basis. This study used two research methods: questionnaire and interview. A total of 270 students from Lintong Railway High School were selected as samples. Questionnaires and Interviews were distributed to students to investigate students’ understanding and usage of “English Fun Dubbing”. The results showed that in terms of knowledge view, “English Fun Dubbing” promotes the understanding and application of knowledge. In terms of student view, “English Fun Dubbing” stimulates students’ learning motivation. In terms of learning view, “English Fun Dubbing” improves oral English ability. In terms of teaching view, “English Fun Dubbing” enables teachers to design teaching activities flexibly.
