Phosphorylated carbon cathodes achieve perfect monovalent cation selectivity in capacitive deionization
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Capacitive deionization using novel phosphorylated cathodes and a small electrical potential is optimized to achieve monovalent cation adsorption with low energy consumption, removing sodium from water without reducing the calcium concentration.
