Pengaruh Film Dokumenter Semes7a Berbasis Pendekatan SETS terhadap Pemahaman Konsep dan Sikap Peduli Lingkungan Siswa

Abstract: The effort to create effective learning according to the needs of students is that teachers design interesting learning activities with approaches and media that are able to focus students' attention by using the media documentary film Semes7a based on the SETS approach. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using the documentary film Semes7a based on the SETS approach on students' concept understanding and environmental care attitudes. The research method used was a quantitative pseudo-experiment with a nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. The research sample was selected by purposive sampling which was divided into experimental and control classes. The collected data were then analyzed using the ancova test. The results showed that the use of the documentary film Semes7a based on the SETS approach affects students' concept understanding and students' environmental care attitudes because it can link the material with real things in everyday life so as to build new knowledge for students on environmental dynamics material that explains balance, change, ethics, and environmental management.
