Abstract: Goal. Identifying the relationship between greening, smart specialization and project management of agrosphere development, developing recommendations on the priorities of smart specialization and directions of environmental protection projects for the development of the agrosphere on the basis of a low-carbon economy and climate-neutral growth. Method. Based on ecosystem and multidisciplinary approaches, methods of scientific synthesis and abstraction, the essence of environmental protection projects for development is substantiated, and the structural-logical method - the priorities of smart specialization in the agrosphere are determined; heuristic and synthesis - directions for the formation of climate-neutral agricultural production projects are proposed. Results. The article reveals the essence and role of environmental projects in the agrosphere in climate policy; reveals the relationship between the greening of the agrosphere, smart specialization and project management in the formation of a low-carbon economy. The features of environmental projects are determined: systematicity and interdisciplinary nature; local adaptation; focus on decarbonization, orientation on reducing CO₂, methane and nitrogen oxide emissions by introducing environmentally friendly ones; long time horizon; involvement of "green" financing instruments; coordination with climate policy and smart specialization). In the context of the ecosystem approach, the essence of smart specialization of the agrosphere is revealed as an integrated strategic development based on the natural logic of the functioning of agroecosystems, focused on sustainability, innovative development and ensuring competitiveness. This approach combines environmental processes, technological solutions, local knowledge and social interests into a single system that creates long-term added value. The priorities of smart specialization in the agricultural sector have been identified: the development of high-tech forms of agricultural production focused on deep processing of products; the development of organic farming, preservation of soil fertility, limitation of chemical load, adaptation to climate change; the development of digital technologies; the formation of innovation and production clusters; the introduction of renewable energy in the agricultural sector; adaptation to climate change. Directions for the development and implementation of projects for the development of climate-neutral agricultural production have been proposed (regenerative agriculture projects aimed at using minimal tillage, cover crops, composting, and biopreparations to reduce emissions and improve the carbon balance of soils; agroforestry projects for carbon accumulation, soil protection, and microclimate regulation; bioenergy projects for the use of biomass, agricultural waste, or energy crops for the production of biogas, bioethanol, or biodiesel; water resources management and land reclamation projects for the implementation of moisture conservation practices, surface runoff reduction, and drainage water treatment; eco-educational and demonstration projects, i.e. projects for the creation of training farms and pilot platforms for the demonstration of climate-neutral agricultural technologies; livestock complex modernization projects to improve waste disposal systems, feed regimes, and ventilation to reduce methane and ammonia emissions). Scientific novelty. Further development has been made of: theoretical and applied provisions on the transition of the agrosphere to the principles of a low-carbon economy and climate-neutral growth, which consist in the application of ecosystem and multidisciplinary approaches, combining economic, environmental and social aspects of the functioning of the agrosphere, which is reflected in the structure of the corresponding organizational and economic mechanism, priorities of smart specialization and directions for the formation of environmental protection projects for the development of the agrosphere; meaningful content of smart specialization of the agrosphere in the context of an ecosystem approach, which consists in integrated strategic development based on the natural logic of the functioning of agroecosystems, focused on sustainability and innovative development, combining environmental processes, technological solutions, multidisciplinary knowledge and social interests into a single system that creates long-term added value and ensures competitiveness.
