Abstract: Orobanche elatior is a rare and endangered plant in Poland. It occurs mainly in southern Poland. A new locality of O. elatior was found in the Góry Świętokrzyskie Mts (Wyżyna Małopolska upland), ATPOL square EE64 (Fig. 1). The plant grows in meadows near Chełm Mountain. In 2023, the population consisted of over 80 O. elatior individuals. The new locality of the species is strongly threatened by the ongoing succession of woody vegetation and requires active protection.
