The Vijñānabhairava Tantra Translation, exegetical notes. Part 2
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The present publication contains the second part of the Russian translation of the second series of stanzas (65–163) from the Vijñānabhairava Tantra — the famous Sanskrit text, which belongs to the tradition of monistic Kashmir Śaivism. This text gives a brief description of psychotechnical practices of Śaiva yoga, which reveals the highest nature of every consciousness — the universal all-embracing consciousness of Śiva-Bhairava. The translation of the text is accompanied with explanatory notes based on the traditional Śivopadhyāya commentary and on a number of other texts.
