Abstract: Theatre has long served as a powerful catalyst for social awareness and reform. This research paper investigates how theatre functions as a platform for advocating social justice and addressing inequality.Through qualitative analysis of various performance forms-such as street theatre, community plays, and political drama-this study explores how theatre artists and groups worldwide use performance to amplify marginalized voices, engage audiences emotionally, and mobilize collective action.Drawing from real-world case studies and established theories, the paper highlights theatre's role as a participatory, reflective, and transformative force. It concludes that theatre continues to be a vital medium for raising consciousness, challenging systemic structures, and contributing to progressive change in society.
