Harmonizing Shariah Compliance with Operational Realities in the Banking Sector

Abstract: The study examines the National Bank's efforts to balance Shariah in its operations, using a survey of 30 participants. It identifies ethical issues in Islamic banking, such as legal restraints, juridical uncertainty, and adverse religious impact. Addressing these issues strategically can improve performance and stability. Key areas for development include strategic governance, technological advancement, and Shariah compliance. The study highlights the dynamic nature of Islamic finance and the challenges it presents to firms in the industry.
