Abstract: This research addresses the theoretical-methodological insufficiencies in the process of accompaniment for pedagogical management in secondary schools. Its objective is to assess the effectiveness of a pedagogical accompaniment strategy in secondary schools to improve the pedagogical management of teachers. As a method, historical-logical, documentary analysis, analytical, inductive, syntactic, among others, were used. The research is documentary, exploratory, only directors, pedagogical coordinators and teachers of the secondary level were used as inclusion criteria, teachers of other levels are excluded. Observation, interview, and survey were used as research techniques. Among the most outstanding findings we have: Insufficient methodological actions to strengthen pedagogical management, which affects, pedagogical planning, record management and evaluation strategies. The accompaniment of pedagogical management needs improvement in the implementation of the process.
