Abstract: The article analyzes the development of commercial aquaculture in Russia in the context of food security. In 2023, the production volume reached 402 thousand tons. tons (+4,8%). Leaders – North-West (139,1 thousand. t) and Yuzhny (86.7 thousand. t) federal districts. Special attention is paid to the Primorsky Territory and the artificial reproduction of aquatic bioresources (3771.5 million copies). juveniles).
