Abstract: This paper investigates the dispersion properties of symmetric TE surface waves in a homogeneous dielectric cylinder of circular cross section.Analytical methods, including the formulation and analysis of dispersion equation (DE) solution as implicit functions employing Cauchy problems, are used to prove the existence and determine propagation constants of these waves.
