Abstract: The Green Burn Unit is not just an aspiration, but it is an urgent necessity. As healthcare professionals, especially in critical care and burn medicine, we hold a dual responsibility: to heal individuals and to protect the planet they live on. The flames we fight in our burn units should not add to the fires threatening our world. By adopting sustainable practices, we ensure that our care extends beyond the bedside and into the future.
