Postembryonic Liver Organogenesis in Broiler Chickens
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The article presents data on the live body weight, as well as the mass and size of the liver in broiler chickens during postembryonic development with the use of Argumistin. The live weight gain in the experimental group surpassed that of the control group. In the control group, the relative body weight gain decreased unevenly, with notable drops on the 16th and 43rd days, while in the experimental group, it declined more steadily. The liver mass of chickens treated with Argumistin did not exceed that of the control group, though the relative liver weight gain was higher in the experimental group from the 23rd to the 50th day. By the end of the study, the ratio of liver mass to body weight in the experimental group was lower than in the control group.
