Abstract: Metal containing (Al 3+ and Fe 3+ ) Fmoc–FF in water and buffered Fmoc–FF (HEPES, TRIS, and sodium phosphate) hydrogels are characterized on the nanoscale using EPR and ATR-IR spectroscopies, TEM and are correlated with mechanical stabilities.
