This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to understand the performance of Denpasar Class I Immigration Office staff in handling overstay cases involving foreign nationals in Denpasar City. Data collection was conducted through three main techniques, namely observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study show that the performance of Denpasar Class I TPI Immigration Office employees in handling overstay cases involving foreign nationals in Denpasar City can be considered good. This can be seen from the well- established procedures for handling overstay cases, starting from field surveillance and reports from the community, arrest, examination, and preparation of examination reports, preparation of deportation documents, and deportation of foreign nationals who have overstayed.
