Abstract: Terahertz aerials are promising components within the swiftly expanding realm of wireless communications. Electromagnetic radiation falling in the frequency range 0.1–10 THz is considered as terahertz band 1 . Terahertz radiation, often termed as submillimeter radiation with the photon energy ranging between 0.41 and 4.14 eV 2 . THz radiation presents a wide range of applications spanning high-speed communication, imaging, medical diagnostics, terahertz spectroscopy, food processing, agriculture 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 . The higher data rates and broader bandwidth offered by the THz band are enticing researchers to deploy its devices for wireless communication applications. As severe path loss is traced in the terahertz band, the aerials are required to produce high gain and radiation efficiency. In contrast to conventional patch antennas, the inherent characteristics of dielectric resonator antennas offers high radiation efficiency and wide bandwidth due its negligible metallic losses 8 , 9 , 10 , 11 .
