Abstract: ABSTRACT To provide a biocontrol solution for managing the phytopathogen Phytophthora cactorum , bacteria were tested for antagonistic activity in vitro and in planta . This paper presents the draft genomes of 25 candidate biocontrol organisms, providing a solid foundation to decipher the underlying mechanisms of their antagonistic activity.
