Threading the Needle: Left Atrial Ridge Mass Complicating Percutaneous Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion
Year: 2025

Study design: Case Report
Abstract: The advancement of transcatheter imaging and intervention has posed the clinical conundrum of increased discovery of incidental cardiac masses. We present 2 unusual cases of incidentally found intracardiac masses along the left atrial ridge during left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) device planning and placement. These cases highlight the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in tailoring and executing successful procedural intervention in such complex scenarios.
