Abstract: KEY POINTS: Olfactory flap preservation in transsphenoidal surgery (TSA) promotes early olfactory recovery. Objective olfactory function recovers faster than subjective olfaction following TSA. Olfactory-specific and sinonasal olfactory-specific quality of life (QOL) smell scores show divergent recovery timelines.
