Type: article
Abstract: This research aims to analyze the strategies of palm oil companies in dealing with environmental pollution in Indonesia. The method used is IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary), EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary) analysis, and the GE (General Electric) matrix based on data from 18 palm oil companies listed on the IndonesiaStock Exchange as well as surveys of various stakeholders. The analysis results show that palm oil companies are in the Vb quadrant in the GE matrix, which indicates market attractiveness on a medium scale.Recommended strategies include maintaining market position through selective investment in green technologies, improving operational efficiency, and careful risk management. This research also identifies the importance of integrating environmental costs into corporate strategy, increasing transparency, and strengthening collaboration with stakeholders.Palm oil companies need to adopt a cautious yet proactive strategic approach in addressing environmental issues to maintain their stability and competitive position in the market, while meeting regulatory demands and enhancing long-term sustainability.
