Exteriorization of symptoms - evidence towards cure: A clinical case series and review of Hering’s law of cure
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In homoeopathy, there is no precision instrument to directly measure the action of a remedy. Rather, the physician must interpret the curative reaction through observable changes in the patient. Hering’s Law of Cure - a fundamental principle of homoeopathy - articulates the natural direction of healing. Although the concept’s roots lie in Hahnemann’s Organon of Medicine, it was systematically structured and clinically emphasized by Dr. Constantine Hering. This paper reviews the historical, philosophical, and clinical foundations of Hering’s Law of Cure with references to Hahnemann’s Organon, the Theory of Chronic Diseases, and other classical homoeopathic literature. A series of ten clinical cases are presented, demonstrating externalization of symptoms as evidence of cure consistent with Hering’s observations.
