Abstract: In light of the high rates of violence against women and feminicide in the current Brazilian context, this study aimed to investigate the effects of Reflective Groups on male perpetrators of violence and their significance as an intervention strategy within the network for combating violence against women. A qualitative approach was adopted, based on field research using a ten-question questionnaire administered to five facilitators of Reflective Groups. The findings revealed that group structures vary, although all are guided by processes of awareness-raising and accountability for the men involved. The effects of these groups extend across various contexts and are characterized by the re-education and transformation of beliefs, behaviors, and long-established relational patterns. Although certain challenges limit their effectiveness, the study concludes that these groups play a meaningful role in the broader network to address violence against women and, with greater support and coordination, have the potential to foster significant change.
