Ethnobotanical survey of medicinal flora in campus of Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat, Assam, India

Abstract: This preliminary study at Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat, Assam, documented 60 medicinal plant species across 55 genera and 37 families through systematic field surveys. The findings highlight RFRI's potential as a phototherapeutic repository and affirm the continued relevance of traditional healing practices in the community, despite the rise of modern medicine.
