Analysis of Police Officers’ Psychological Stress Mechanism in Emergency Response and the Optimization of Intervention Paths

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: When dealing with high-risk situations, the police can experience anxiety, decision-making biases, and other psychological conditions. These psychological states can directly affect the effectiveness of task execution and personnel safety. This study carefully analyzes the psychological changes and manifestations of police officers during task execution, and draws on psychological intervention strategies to form a comprehensive intervention mechanism based on the actual combat exercises of the public security “blue army”, including psychological endurance cultivation and scenario reproduction methods. In addition, the solidification of fixed thinking patterns and the lack of targeted training have become the main obstacles to ability improvement. Adopting the method of “red blue confrontation strategy plus psychological reinforcement training” can effectively enhance individuals’ flexible response ability in dealing with emergencies, which provides a theoretical foundation and clarifies the operational direction for improving the effectiveness of police psychological training.
