Abstract: Investment planning is a vital component in ensuring the efficient functioning of enterprises within a dynamic market environment marked by intensifying competition and rapid technological advancements. This paper delves into the concept of an investment strategy as a fundamental element of strategic management, with a focus on innovation-driven approaches to investment decision-making. It examines contemporary scientific methods of managing investment activities and identifies the main factors that shape investment strategy choices, such as investment attractiveness, the enterprise’s life cycle stage, and prevailing internal and external market conditions. Particular emphasis is placed on a systemic approach to strategic planning and the contribution of information technologies to increasing organizational adaptability. The research underscores the importance of aligning the investment strategy with other strategic directions of enterprise development to foster long-term and sustainable economic growth.
