Abstract: Objective. To present a clinical case of successful endovascular treatment of iatrogenic superior vena cava syndrome (SVCS) using balloon angioplasty. Materials and methods. A 37-year-old patient with a history of chronic kidney failure on renal replacement therapy was admitted with pronounced SVCS symptoms. Contrast-enhanced CT and ultrasound of the brachiocephalic veins were performed. Following an unsuccessful attempt at recanalization, balloon angioplasty was carried out in an interventional radiology suite. Results. Successful recanalization and restoration of venous outflow were achieved. Stenting was not required. The postoperative period proceeded without complications, and clinical improvement was observed. Conclusion. Balloon angioplasty can be an effective and safe treatment option for iatrogenic superior vena cava syndrome (SVCS). The minimally invasive nature of the procedure allows for significant clinical improvement even in high-risk patients
