A Study on Measuring the Total Scale of Internet Rental Bicycles in Nanning

Abstract: The overall scale of Internet leased bicycle in Nanning City is 165,000 vehicles, the average daily riding order reaches 536,000, and the share of riding residents' traveling volume accounts for 5.3%, which has become an important part of Nanning City residents' traveling. In order to scientifically regulate the scale of Internet leased bicycles and avoid the urban management problems caused by the uncontrolled growth of vehicles, this paper combines the data of Nanning residents' travel characteristics, constructs a demand prediction model that integrates short-distance travel and connecting rail transit travel from the angle of actual demand, and combines the assessment of the spatial carrying capacity of road parking and access to put forward the method of dynamic total control, and finally estimates the number of Internet leased bicycles in central urban areas of Nanning City from 2024 to 2027. Finally, it is estimated that the reasonable scale of Internet leased bicycles in Nanning city center from 2024 to 2027 is 160,000 to 200,000 units.
