Abstract: Under the rapid development of the digital era, the rise of digital humanities has provided a new theoretical basis and inheritance strategy method for the digitization of ancient books. Lingnan Chinese medicine ancient books as an important treasure of Chinese cultural heritage, in the physical preservation conditions need to introduce digital technology, digital activation of Lingnan Chinese medicine ancient books, reconstruct the digital value of the ancient books and put forward the relevant design inheritance strategy. This paper analyzes the protection and activation of Lingnan traditional Chinese medicine ancient books in recent years, and on this basis, discusses how to use digital modern technology to realize the effective protection and inheritance of Lingnan traditional Chinese medicine ancient books in the context of digital humanities. Promoting the digital revitalization of Lingnan antiquities, strengthening data circulation and open sharing of information is conducive to the transformation and upgrading of the processing and utilization of Lingnan Chinese medicine antiquities and the construction of digital database, which will provide more possibilities for the inheritance of Lingnan Chinese medicine antiquities and their derivation and development.
