Abstract: This news section offers Cancer readers timely information on events, public policy analysis, topical issues, and personalities. In this issue, new treatments for metastatic colorectal cancer over the past year continue to show advancements in precision medicine. In addition, the final analysis of the ALCYONE trial shows the continued benefit of adding daratumumab to induction regimens for transplant‐ineligible patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma, and patients with ER‐low, early‐stage breast cancer experienced significantly worse overall survival when endocrine therapy was omitted, suggesting that endocrine therapy may be warranted in these patients.
