Abstract: not-yet-known not-yet-known not-yet-known unknown Anomalous left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) typically presents in infancy with left ventricular dysfunction and mitral insufficiency. We present the diagnostic challenge in an infant who presented initially with ventricular dysfunction which gradually improved to preserved ventricular function accompanied by severe mitral regurgitation. This case illustrates the heterogeneity in presentation of ALCAPA and need for timely diagnosis and repair for improving associated morbidity and mortality.
