Abstract: The article presents an analytical review of Russian and foreign scientific, technical, regulatory, and methodological literature devoted to the assessment of the life cycle cost of water supply and sewage networks. The approaches to the life cycle cost assessment of water supply and sewage systems in the Russian Federation and other countries are considered, compared, and various methodological proposals presented in scientific periodicals aimed at improving the accuracy of the life cycle cost assessment methods for water supply and sewage systems are analyzed. Each stage of the life cycle is considered in detail for cost formation in various methods. The possibility of making additions and adjustments to the current methodological base for the life cycle cost assessment of water supply and sewage networks pipelines in the Russian Federation is assessed based on the best international practices and scientific and technical proposals.
